My recent 1837 RE CBH PCGS MS63 win through HA is a real looker and a keeper. What is your keeper?

I don’t think I’ve ever won a more eye appealing CBH.
I paid a bit over Price Guide but didn't care at all.
I’ve already had several offers to buy her, but this lady isn’t leaving the house.
Do you have a special coin that you will always own and never sell?
BTW, I'm very happy with the TrueView image.
I'm thinking the photographer knew he had a colorful specimen and wanted to get a great image.
MS63
Heritage Description:
1837 GR-21 Reeded Edge Half
Lustrous MS63
Condition Census
1837 50C GR-21, R.2, MS63 PCGS. Vibrant iridescent toning encompasses both sides of this Select Uncirculated example. Orange and gold shades occupy the borders, while blue and violet hues enrich the centers of this lustrous and frosted, minimally marked Reeded Edge half. A large die lump in the reverse field below O in OF helps confirm the GR-21 attribution. The central devices are quite sharp, although signs of die fatigue are visible at the highest points and at the outer margins. The eye appeal is exceptional.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Super sweet.
The Heritage photos do your coin (and the consigner?) an injustice.

Beautiful! I wonder if the HA photos had an impact on price. Super win!

That is a gorgeous coin! Congrats on a really nice addition!
My keeper is this beautifully toned and original eagle. It's a R7 variety and was my first big boy coin purchase.

Very nice coin, at $3,840.00.
Congrats on your win. Well struck with pretty toning and just from your TV, looks to be a higher grade level IMHO. That’s certainly a keeper! Here’s mine-
Zack.
Holy smokes that is beautiful.
Hard to nail down one single keeper, but my ‘99 cent is certainly in the running. Yes it’s well worn, but it’s original and free of issues, and I can only imagine it’s history. Such a storied and rare coin, especially nice. Hard to replace.

Very nice coin!! Unlike you, I believe that every coin can be sold for the right price.
Her's one of mine I plan on keeping for a while:
Great coin.
I certainly don't know the series, especially in MS grades, but looking at the coin, I immediately think it's undergraded.

I've got higher dollar value coins in my collection but I'm draw to this one...

Great coins everyone. This one just spoke to me with its originality and great surfaces for a huge coin that circulated out west.
This is always the first one that comes to mind:

Great 1837! I actually won the N58 GR-14 and it is nicer in hand.
But to your thread premise, this one is both a looker and a keeper, and one I would have a hard time EVER selling

I've had this coin for a long time.
I sold her once in a moment of weakness, but I got her back before the buyer could post her in his inventory.

Gorgeous 1837 RE.

I believe that this was the very first coin/token/medal of any kind that was ever minted with a Colorado theme:
1860 Clark Gruber "pyramid" copper die trial, which predates the mintage of $20 gold:
Excellent pick up @Goldbully , she's a winner.
As far as selling I'll never say never but these would be dead last.

Superb coin.
Congratulations! That is spectacular!
I have quite a few “keepers” but this one comes to mind right away:

That is fabulous original brown Gem Circ 1799 cent!
30+ years coin shop experience (ret.) Coins, bullion, currency, scrap & interesting folks. Loved every minute!
Thank you! When it came up I stretched for it, but never regretted it. I love the Mickley legend regarding the 1799s. To me it’s only rivaled by the Chain.
This is the only stickered ‘99 in VG8…
