I know it's a little early, anybody plan to attend the Baystate Coin Show this year?

I'd like to meet some of my 'friends' from here that I have never met.

I heard it's a good show...and up-and-comer before Covid....always wanted to go and hope to if not this year.

Does the show live up to its $10.00 admission fee? How many dealers the website made no mention.

Unfortunately it now takes place in summer right before ANA so Scarsdale Coin no longer has it on our circuit. If it moves back to spring we would gladly put it back on our show schedule as it was a good show

The fee used to be $5 for the whole show when I lived in New England with Sunday for free. New Englanders are a frugal group. I wonder how many customers Mr Aleo is losing with the $10 fee? The show is also outside of Boston, which does away with the Friday night after work shoppers.

Yes, I remember attending the show in the late 60's/ early 70's in Boston, I believe at the Statler Hotel

It was at the Howard Johnson Hotel, which was really classy for the brand name.i saw one of the rooms. It was nice, and there was a good steak house on the street level floor.

I know they cut up the room on the top floor which ruined it for a coin show after I left the New England area.

Went last year, looking forward to this year. Got to see some awesome rarities firsthand.

Not sure of the number of dealers, I'm no good at guessing either. As far as the $10 admission, yeah, it's steep, but parking is free so that offsets it. I know dealers liked the downtown Boston location for getting to/from the airport, but as a customer I'd much rather be out on 495 than driving to and from downtown Boston on a Friday.
