NEWP: Has anyone seen an elongated coins other than a cent?

I recently purchased an elongated 1929 Standing Liberty Quarter with J.H. Cline's advertising from the 102nd ANA Convention 1993. I don't recall seeing other elongated coins besides cents. How about you?
Thank you for your interest and comments!

I have a 1939 mercury dime compliments of Lord M
Liberty nickels from 1893 Chicago Worlds fair.
Yes, I've seen most or all current denominations used.
The machines you see at tourist sites are almost always for cents, but people who do them privately often use other denominations, as well.
1893 Chicago World's Fair has numerous denominations and countries - I have even seen gold from that inaugural event for the elongation machines
I've had quite of few of the Chicago Liberty nickels.
J.H. Cline was a great guy, by the way. Back in the 70's when I was a very young and budding dealer, I sent him a package of standing quarters. All circulated stuff, stuff he certainly didn't need. He let me know that he didn't really need that kind of material, but he sent me a check. A check I needed to keep getting along at the time.
mercury dimes and a few roosevelts
These can be graded:
Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com) has announced it will expand the kinds of elongated coins it grades to include the numerous pieces cataloged in the authoritative catalog known as Yesterday’s Elongateds. The 1981 book by Lee Martin and Dottie Dow has been updated three times over the years and lists hundreds of popular elongated coins, which are collectible pieces made from legal-tender coins that have been flattened in a machine and imprinted with a special logo or design.
“As the leading third-party coin grading company, PCGS continues expanding its grading services to include many areas of the hobby,” said PCGS President Stephanie Sabin. “Elongated coins are one of the most popular areas of exonumia, and the pieces cataloged in Yesterday’s Elongateds constitute some of the classic core pieces found in the cabinets of collectors. It was natural that PCGS would provide full authentication, grading, and encapsulation of these important collectibles.”
Many years ago, one of my coin club friends had a counterfeit Liberty $5 gold coin and he had someone run it through their elongation machine.

You can mash and disfigure the cent, but can't melt one.
How about an ANA Nat coin week

the idea against melting is to keep coins in circulation and not melted for profit
novelty stuff is allowed if not a high quantity.
I don't even know what MSNA stands for. Plus, I have no idea where I got this.

@dcarr - What kind of pressure in these machines does it take to make one of these?

not a non-cent but did a canadian cent once. very disappointed it didn't have enough oxidation and grime to make the canada part discernible
i tried a 1NT coin from Taiwan but it wouldn't feed right and had to stop
Someone sold an elongated gold piece on GC couple months ago.

That hurt!
From the Space Needle in Seattle, in 2019. Made from 2000 New Hampshire state quarter.
They also had a penny smasher, and I got one of those too, not the same design.

i made so many train coins when i was young. they may be worthless but i'm kind of sad i can't find them
did u use silver quarters?

no, but i've always like the wanton destruction and the ghost remnants. plus they would be mementos
@MsMorrisine same here when younger, always pennies, you could get some good candy for a nickel back then. If the train was going fast, the coin would move on the rail and get little to no effect. But if it was going slow, you got a nice flattened penny.

I’ve had Indian and Wheat cents, Liberty and Buffalo nickels, and Barber and Mercury dimes elongated with my clan badge crest.
They are archived on the Token Catalog site. Currently the only ones I’m distributing are the Buffalo nickels. I had 400 of those made in 2023.
