Anyone here ever complete a set from just coin roll hunting?

A few years back I completed a Franklin set just from CRH.It took a few years and many boxes searched plus some lucky finds from area banks. I was close with the Roosevelt dimes but never finished them before I took a long break from CRH. Anyone else here complete any set from just CRH?

Yes, multiple ones. Washingtons, Jeffersons, Roosevelts, including the silver.
Yes, SQs, ATBs, Roosevelts, and Jeffersons—clad.
I am quite interested in this topic because I believe that it is still possible to complete a set of cents from 1959 to date by roll hunting. Is that so?
It is also my impression that one can complete a set of sets from the mid 1930s to 1958 by roll hunting Wheat cent rolls. Does this seem reasonable?
Yes and maybe. IMO. There are some of the 30's Lincolns that will be hard to find.
I would say that you would have a chance of finding Lincolns from 1935 on. Before that, the chances are slim to none. All of these rolls have been cherry picked.
I was doing the cents for a while when I started and did make the mid 30's to 1958 set. Then I moved up to doing mostly halves and dimes. I worked on the Kennedy sets and included the proofs as they were actually pretty frequently found.

Back in the day I completed a set of Roosevelt Dimes and a set Franklin Half Dollars for circulation.
About 3 months of coin roll hunting 6 boxes of nickels a week has resulted in pretty much all Jefferson nickel date/mm combinations. Maybe missing one or two wartime dates but those don't stick in my memory as well since they are silver.
@BillJones The early dates do show up, but when they do, they are almost always common issues (1916, 1919, 1927, etc.)

I completed a jefferson nickel album through 1975 from change. The majority was done in the late 50s and early 60's with a paper route. I finally put them in an old Harco Coinmaster album when I had to buy some proof nickels up to 75S in order to complete. Still have the album. Over half of my 1st Buffalo nickel album was gotten from the same. Completed without buying when overseas out of slot machine change. Still have it(actually in the safe for my granddaughter).

If you don't include proof issues. In 2022 I completed a BU Kennedy half dollar set complete from 1964-2022 from coin roll searching excepting for the 1970-D in about 6 months including all NIFC dates and silver coins
I have been coin roll searching since 1958-on and off and. since I am retired now, I get two boxes per week of coins from Wells-Fargo of whatever denomintation I ask for. Even through all the past 57 years, I have never found a 1950-D nickel. I am still searching for one though. I found all but 6 wheat cents including a 1909-S vdb in 1963, which I still have. Roosevelt dimes when silver was still circulating freely. Also Franklyn halves. And all business strike modern clad coinage to date.
Define "set".
Lincoln cents? From 1909-present? From 1959-present?
Roosevelt dimes? Include silver or not? Proofs or not?
Etc etc etc
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Lincoln cents? From 1909-present? From 1959-present?
I was thinking complete business strike sets, cents, 1909- 2025 in normal circulation, not the proofs. All dates and mint marks. I guess, Lincoln Cents could have all the sub sets, wheats, memorials, 2009 centennials, copper Lincolns, shields. There really are a lot of options.

W-Quarters (X10), State & ATB Quarters P&D. Lincoln's 1941-1974, Rose's 1965-1999
I do not CRH, but from circulation I have completed one complete Jefferson nickel 38-64 set with three other almost complete sets. I still find Jefferson nickels from the 30's to current almost every week, although the silver war nickels have become scarcer it seems. Also completed two or three sets of the ATB and Parks quarters not including the W quarters, I found most of the W quarters except for the last two issued. For some reason I never did find one of either of those in change. I imagine that a set of Lincolns from 34 to current could be done if you wanted to search bags and rolls.

I completed a Lincoln cent set 1909-1958 from change except for the 1914-D or 1955 DDO (did find the 09-SVDB and 20 no D) in 1970 when I was very active in hunting change. Loads of Indians cents, Buffalo nickels, etc back then. Today I find nothing worth the effort. Just went through 50,000 cents over the past month and literally found nothing of value, so I'm done with that -- may try some nickels.
Sold off my old set a few years ago after slabbing the keys for authentication and went with a 1909-58 slabbed set with everything in MS except the 1917DDO and 1920 no D (both of those are only in XF45, as the prices are insane for MS).
I have metal detected since the mid 1970s I have found all Mercury dimes except a 21-D and 26-S. Kind of like going back in time and searching change. Took thousands of hours to accomplish this. hunt yards mostly now.
I'd love to see that collection.
With finding the '50-D about ten years ago I completed a Whitman folder. It took about ten years of searching, then go figure - I found another one a few weeks later. Same with the 1858 FE cents I found, both in the same week from different banks.
A few years ago I bought a number of sets from a retired baker who said he assembled all types of sets during his career from change.
