My favorite is the 1936 Satin Finish Proof Buffalo Nickel. I think that it show cases the the design very well without the distracting shine of the brilliant Proof pieces.
Here is one of my favorite nickels (PF68) that resides in my collection. Absent the toning on the coin I think it would have received a Cameo designation as it has fully frosted devices and mirrored fields.

A favorite when I collected Jefferson 1938-1964 proofs - sold when I dispersed the coins in that registry set. A tough issue to find in DCAM.

There's some great photos being shared in this thread. The patterns in particular are really cool. I can't pick my all time favorite nickel, but this is for sure my favorite one that i own.
I hope this works, it's a pcgs pr67 cam 1878 shield nickel that just sold on heritage. It sold for 5k plus the buyers commission.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.
