Just finished a cool little set

How little? 3 coins. 1921-PDS Broadstruck Morgan dollars. I picked up the 21-D this week from the post office.

Bought the 21-S (AU58) first in 2018 at Central States, then the 21 (MS64+) in 2021 in a Heritage auction, then the 21-D (AU58) last week in a Heritage auction.

It sure would fit with this set. No idea if one exists. If it did, it would probably be the fullest strike you'd ever see on a 1921 Peace dollar. I imagine @FredWeinberg , Mike Byers, or Jon Sullivan has seen one if it does exist.

Broadstrikes, and out-of-collar strikes in general, tend to be extremely well struck, presumably because there's no collar involved to restrict flow of the coin when struck. It's the "cheap" way to get a 1945 Mercury dime in FB.

Oh, my. They do exist. This is probably one of the most breathtaking cleaned and damaged uncirculated Peace dollars you're going to see. $7200 five years ago.
