Tape Your Boxes, Chapter 2

Shipper dodged a bullet big time here. Small FRBs need reinforcement if there's anything heavy inside. These are also the worst tubes you could use to ship coins as they often shatter in transit

As someone else posted here a while ago, I like the padded envelope (if small) or box within a larger box. And the inside package taped securely with that fiber tape to the inside of the outer box so any thief really has to struggle to remove.

But hey, they saved $8 by using the smaller box right? #dumb

I don't think that was the motivation behind using that box. Had it been reinforced, this wouldn't have happened.

We know that box cardboard is cheap, cheap, cheap. Fiber reinforced tape is necessary. Close call for sure.

I recently received a package that had so much tape inside and outside that I had a very hard time getting it open. It was a great packing job.

Those small boxes have cardboard that is thin and are weak AF.
Even when I've not packed them that heavy/full, I use the paper registered mail tape on all sides/corners and across the middle in front and back.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I understand when shipping many ounces of bullion, you have to use a box but when I ship, I refuse to. The only issues I’ve ever had with usps involved a box.

When you ship, you have to pack it assuming the gorillas in the American Tourister commercials handle your package.
