Today at the Tampa show I saw a PR64 1939 walker in a doily. I did not get the serial. It started with a 6.

Just posted on Reddit, the poster claims to have 3 different ones found in a purchased storage container.

Looks like the owner hasn’t decided what to do with them yet.

Pretty darn lucky and he is getting reasonable estimates from some folks, estimates that completely ignore the rarity of the holder from others and then essentially trolling estimates from a third group.

The OP in the reddit thread said he has three consecutive cert numbers and it was my understanding they are all 1972 DDO MS65RD coins. I ran the PCGS certs for this and they would be 6249675-6249677. Wow!

I also sent him a PM on reddit inviting him to the PCGS boards for more information.

Hey folks! Really happy you guys have kept up on this census. Seeing it brings back fond memories of the early days.

I recently added one that doesn’t seem to appear here: 1912-D Lib Nickle. Just had it CAC approved with a grean bean. Cert #06242850

Hope I am not stepping on any toes here. Not sure if any or all of these may have been posted earlier. I no longer own this group of Morgans as I sold them thru Great Collections in Feb of 2023.

***DLRC Auctions has an active auction (closes May 15) of seventy three of these. Link:

    https://davidlawrence.com/auctions?auctions=199

I do not have any desire to check them against the spreadsheet listing.
I don't know if the link will hold up after the auction closes.

Here are 3 others not related to the above DLRC auction (I don't think) that I do not find in the spreadsheet listing.

DLRC has this one. There’s only one other $2.5 Indian in a doily listed in the spreadsheet, so this would be the second. Looks like it hasn’t been updated in over a year but thought it was worth posting this here anyway.

Here's a recent purchase and then CAC approved 1883 to add to the list.

You should also add to the census list of PCGS Gen 2.0 Doily holders these 73 examples that were in a recent DLRC auction -- yes, that's right -- 73 in one auction! Just a thought, but although looking different, maybe these Doily label holders aren't any more scarce than PCGS Gen 2.1A and 2.1B or Gen 2.2 collar holders. After all, all four of these label varieties were produced between September 1989 and January 1990.

I know this coin is not tracked, but it's worth mentioning on here. It's a 1961-D Roosevelt dime in a sample doily holder. The coin is a 1964!

I considered it this morning and obviously opted out. Great coin and holder! I knew it wouldn't stay for long. Only the 3rd known barber half in a doily wrap. Congratulations.

Sellers pics, says it looks better in hand (former PCGS grader) - we will see!

Probably from a roll submission as the serial # is close to the other 2 already in the census - could there be 47 others floating around??
