Bold of them to use a Gold Shield holder. Looks like a genuine 1928 Peace, but nowhere near the beautiful gem coin in the TrueView.

Reported.
the qr code goes to pcgs.com.cn
the photo is blurry. what aspects of "gem" aren't there?
Interesting how using your camera on the QR code on the back takes you to the PCGS site and the actual coin. The counterfeiters are getting really good…..😡
on the counterfeit under "PLU" is a hit that's not on the real one
I don't know about anyone else, but I think that counterfeit in the counterfeit slab is pretty scary. They even gave it a little toning.
FWIW, seller claims item has never been to CAC.
CAC disagrees:

I believe the coin is real. In fact, the more I look at it, the more I’m convinced that the photos are Heritage auction slab scans that have had digitally manipulated labels added.

It doesn’t appear to be a true counterfeit coin, per se,
it's a photoshop job as noted above

Unfortunately I think the seller is still going to rip someone off for close to $3k. Their other item is a $50 Buffalo but the photos are just screenshots from when it sold at Heritage. I have a feeling the buyer is not going to receive a genuine coin.

I've seen a seller that used genuine photos of raw coins, then sent underweight counterfeits. it was naru'd eventually after many negs. i think they'd still be in business if they had proper weights

The question is what do you receive on purchase?
Sorry for any confusion, as I hadn't seen this post and just posted my own: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/comment/13809267#Comment_13809267
