I found an original photo of Adolph Weinman dated 1929. From my febble internet search, the bronze sculpture in the photo appears to be a bronze of the sphynx monument on the left side of the entrance, outside of the Temple of Scottish Rite in Washington DC.

And did you all know that the model that A. Weinman modeled the WL half from was born in Rochester, N.Y. in 1891 and was the supermodel of her time in the 1910’s and beyond. There are dozens of famous sculptures of her in New York City and across the country. Her name was Audrey Munson.
And we won't be seeing any from the mint any time soon. Deceased Presidents and blant, overly designed commemoratives.
He was the best of the outside artists who were asked to submit designs for U.S. regular issue coins. His designs were beautiful, and the mint system was able to strike well enough to last in circulation.
