If I may ask an ANACS query (thank you, PCGS and CU!)

In any case, you get what you pay for.

I've used ANACS for some Daniel Carr stuff and I will do so again. The service was great.

But...in regard to the coins you mentioned, if you are trying to capture a coin's grade for eventual resale, ANACS might not be the best choice.

I believe that the OP has accidentally mistaken the original plastic shell used for 1971-1974 40% silver Proof Ikes for the plastic shell used for GSA dollars, which is very similar.

Yes, I agree. I've always assumed it's the same shell.

If the OP was thinking to get the whole case slabbed (if anacs does that for GSAs) I'm not sure that's going to work. Or do they offer a band around the case? If they do I don't know if they'd do that for all OGP.
