My guess is $27.63 and Australia (I have seen numerous seated liberty dimes and half dimes on ebay from an australian seller)
Coincidentally, I was looking at ebay listings earlier today and saw a different 1872 dime that had a higher bid than I thought it should, it wasn't the DDR but I found out about it while doing research, turns out the 1872 has a surprisingly low survival rate compared to some others with similar mintages, and that might explain the priceYoung Numismatist • My Toned Coins

The issue is if someone here sees this post and then decides the seller should know about it, and they take it upon themselves to see that it happens. It's a low move, but it's happened plenty of times. Delaware's advice is good advice.

I did get the exact coin. It is low grade, but I think that it was a good buy for $9.69. Here are my pictures.

I knew the variety because I was the one who figured out that it was a super wild doubled die with almost 180 degree rotation between impressions. A collector had sent it to Bill Fivaz as a possible dual denomination clash mark, and Bill sent it to me because I am good at figuring stuff out. I looked at it for a while and it just popped into my head. I called Bill and said “Are you sitting down?”

Look at the leaf running at an angle through the E of DIME. That is the leaf running above the O of ONE. Then just orient all of the other details from that.
