Used some birthday money to get a nice 1928 Peace from my LCS. Felt like a kid again, saving b-day money for something special. 😁

    I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

    Are you sure that's an authentic 1928 Peace dollar and not a "mintmark removed" piece?

    Yes, I’m sure. It’s hard to see without magnification, but there is a die gouge near the B in Liberty which matches the listing on VAM world for “Obverse Die 1”.
