I’m closer F12+, but still a great deal for a better date with a nice original look!

Yeah maybe a 15, reverse looked VF-ish, but obverse probably need a bit more meat for 20.

    I’m at 12 bumped to 15 since it’s mine…

tough call on the grade- 15 is my floor. The reverse hit at the rim and D at 6 o'clock is the only negative I see- perfect coin for an album set- Library of coins or Whitman. I might be persuaded to grade it at 20 after seeing in hand- it has some positives such as reasonable wing detail that helps the cause for 20.

What an attractive 17 Drev! That is a nice VF20(without the distracting lower reverse rim ding). The Full Date and Great Text condition with full rims and fantastic full rays, I feel would grant the VF20 grade, details for rim ding. still a most attractive coin. Not sure what the white stuff at the R in DOLLAR is, but would attempt to remove it, if possible. Congrats great pickup at a great price. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely summarised. I didn’t notice the white stuff until I saw my photos. Into the acetone she goes…

Also just a minor ding to the left of the eagles beak. But overall a nice coin for the price .

As much as I would dislike the dings, it can soothe the soul to remind oneself that it is a CIRCULATED coin. Perfection shouldn't be expected.

Based on pics of PCGS graded similar coins I have owned, I wouldn't be surprised if it would get a 25 without the dings and net grade to vf20.
