This reminds me back when I worked in a shop more than once someone would come in with Lets say a worn out Morgan and want t know what we’ll pay. We would offer a fair price and they get their panties in a wad, face fully flustered and accusing us of cheating them. They would pull out a red book scan across the page to the highest price proof as if the other columns didn’t exist and tell us what the red book says it’s worth. Standard answer would be sell it to the red book, politely of course.

How about you send this half dollar to a TPG and pay the cost of being correct and then post the verified result by the TPG or find out what you believe to have you don't and then post that result.

When I was a kid 60 years ago now my dad would listen to a radio show that followed the White Bass run at the Wolf river Wisconsin. When the radio host said they’re running my dad would literally drop everything and call my uncle within an hour we’re heading to the Wolf river. The White Bass were so thick people could snag fish without bait.

You might want to put a listing like this on the US coin Forum or the Q & A Forum. It doesn't look like you are trying to sell this gem - wrong forum.
