    Nice toning on the reverse. I've never been a fan of fingerprints on my coins. To each his own.

    Though I don't like fingerprints; they're not the end of the world. I ALMOST bought this CAC Seated dollar with a fingerprint (seen below). It had nice originality. I ended up passing for another CAC coin of the same MM/date that I liked a little better. In retrospect, it wouldn't have been bad to own that coin. I like yours, too. The supreme color more than makes up for it. Enjoy!

    Here's my 1937 "finger print" Proof quarter. I probably should not have bought this one. The fact that it had not been dipped influenced my decision. This one is in a PCGS PR-65 holder, which kept the price within reason. I wanted to assemble "a respectable collector grade" set of Proof sets from 1936 to 1942.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
