Here is a closer view of the above USAF Transport Aircraft from my concurrently taken video:

This mid May afternoon a convoy of three United States Air Force Transport Airplanes arrived in Alaska. The first landed and the following two then circled back with the second then landing.

Do they still have this race? I built Soap box derby cars for 30+ years, the race Is still pretty big in my hometown, held on the 4th of July every year.

I believe it is still an annual event.

It’s very unlikely they are the same planes. The plane I photographed is stationed in Southern California and it was in a flyover at an Angels baseball game for Military Awareness Night.

San Francisco Night 4 years ago. Forgot the reason for the purple lighting.
