CACG vs. NGC and PCGS submissions

Was wondering how fellow collectors feel about the "new" grading service CACG. Are any regular submitters planning to change some or most of their future submissions form ngc.pcgs to cacg? Comments would be appreciated as I am contemplating send some coins to CACG in the near future.

I crossed a number of stickered coins to CACG. The turnaround was about 10 days including mail time. I haven’t tried to cross unstickered coins or submit raw coins, but given the turnaround time I experienced, I will definitely use CACG rather than wait a month or more for my coins.

I'm sticking with PCGS since that is where my registry sets are. Also I'm not a member of CAC so there's that.

I will cross NGC CAC coins to CACG. Otherwise, I prefer submitting to PCGS.

just adds another layer of ???? to collecting. I am thinking cost, confusion, and crossover opportunity.

Of course, my cross over experience with PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and ICG has not worked out. For example. one test of the same PCGS 67 + went to a 67 at NGC, ANACS, and ICG.
My NGC AU58 went to 55 at ANACS. Another NGC AU58 went straight across to ANACS 58.

Any luck on going up at this new CACG?

I’m not planning on crossing any of my PCGS coin, but the next set I embark on will likely be CACG. The main reason is that I have lost confidence in the TrueView product.

    I hope they're reading this.

PCGS may end up having the fastest turnaround times ever if they keep charging $5 for Trueview while serving up "pumpkin pie."

All US eligible coins I have for TPG submission from hereon will go to CACG. I fully agree with their approach to grading, they are quick for return, and I believe that over the long run, coins in their holder will have more value.

I submitted 6 to them yesterday at CSNS.

I will submit to and buy PCGS and NGC only for me.

I may purchase a CACG already graded coin But only if it is unique and hard to find and not astronomically priced.

    Picking opportunities aside...

Sticking with PCGS for subs and crossovers.

TrueViews are only $5, or included at no extra cost with submissions above economy or modern.

Oops. I confused it with attributions. I'll edit it. Thanks for the correction.

The cac system is the most professional of the choices in most respects; imaging, grading, billing, etc.. It seems designed to circumvent problems. Their grading seems overly strict though.

I wish more businesses, like the grading services, would take on a business model such as Chewy pet supplies and cat/dog food:

When a customer informs Chewy about the loss of their pet, they have a reputation for providing exceptional customer service and compassion.
Here's how Chewy typically handles such situations:
-Refunds and Donations: Chewy offers a full refund for unopened food or medication purchased for the deceased pet. -Instead of requiring returns, they encourage customers to donate the unused items to a local shelter or friend.
-Sympathy and Support: Chewy often sends a sympathy card and flowers or a memorial stone to the grieving pet owner as a gesture of support.
-Offers of Grief Counseling: They also provide resources and potentially direct access to counselors specializing in pet bereavement to help customers cope with their loss.
-Cancellation of Subscriptions: They make it easy for customers to cancel any auto-ship subscriptions associated with the deceased pet.

Now, after the loss of such a pet I'd imagine it isn't too terribly long before that prior pet owner adopts another animal.
Guess when that renewed pet owner will contact for their pet's needs?

If customer service was over and beyond, collectors are a loyal bunch. I'd imagine hardly anyone would stray from the Service that offers not just the minimum, but goes the extra mile.

What are the CACG membership stats? Do they allow new members, I've heard they do not, must you be a member to list coins in either of their registries.

Several of our coin club members are cat lovers and wept profusely when they lost their beloved pet, and the mere mention of them brings tears to their eyes and choked up voices. You can't underestimate the strong emotional connections with pets.

Still a PCGS submitter. But have acquired some CACG material for retail stock. My sales volume for CACG off the bourse to investors has been high. My CACG inventory increased substantially this year.

All of my subs have gone to PCGS. I use the PCGS registry and prefer the holders. I want to submit to CACG. I'm waiting to have at least 5 coins. I have used the stickering service a few times.
