Happy Easter to all, Blessed be The Prince of the Universe.

Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.

I picked up a bunch of Byzantine coppers and posted on the ancients forum which were quite helpful.

The detail and workmanship of those ancient and medieval coins always amazes me, as does the fact that any of the coins survive in such exceptional condition.

Even more amazing when you consider the artistry far surpasses the dogs that make up the majority of our modern coinage. Coins produced by the most powerful nation to ever exist on the planet and with astronomical technological advances…..

@JBK You are correct in your observation. This coin is 2/3 the size
of a Lincoln cent and half as thick. Victor D. Brenner had relatively
a good pair of glasses to help with vision deterioration and a good
magnifying glass. The Medieval die creator had neither of these aids.
I am also amazed at the detail the coin has and how well it survived.

I have a carpenter named Jesus. I doubt many of you celebrated his arrival but I consider him a savor for many of my problems.
