Although I sold this piece some 6 months ago, it was “special” as the only 1892-S Barber 50C to date with a PCGS PL designation . Plus, it has extraordinary eye appeal.

If V nickels count, then these are my 4 favorite barbers i have. (Please ignore the other 2 ugly non-barber coins in the picture)
Nice!
“I believe in intuitions and inspirations. I sometimes feel that I am right. I do not know that I am. When two expeditions of scientists, financed by the Royal Academy, went forth to test my theory of relativity, I was convinced that their conclusions would tally with my hypothesis. I was not surprised when the eclipse of May 29, 1919, confirmed my intuitions. I would have been surprised if I had been wrong.”
“Then you trust more to your imagination than to your knowledge?”

Thanks. Its taken forever to find all of them to make a matching appearance set.
The half was the last one i wasnt 100% happy with, and was thrilled to finally find one i love. When i started collecting i didnt really like the barber design until i saw a gorgeous high grade cameo proof barber...just had to have it.

It's -2 and white outside. The cats won't even consider going outside. Let's talk MS Barber halves...Which is your favorite? Post some high-end examples...Add to the thread!
@FlyingAl Fantastic photo of a fantastic coin! PS, If any one is wondering what a half dollar from 1905 looks like, that has never been cleaned, dipped, or messed with....This would be it.

One more - common date with uncommon quality. Imo, looks better than the assigned grade (MS64).

Nice coins guys!
I like your 1899-O and your 1892.

The 1901-O deserves honorable mention.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
