Does anyone still collect BIE cent errors?

So in a collection I came across hundreds and hundreds of BIE erros on wheats and memorial cents. The collector actually had paperwork showing auction results as well as a BIE club, but this was all from the 70s

Does anyone collect these things anymore, or are they to plentiful now and not worth keeping out of the wheat bucket?

I know peoples which collect those things. Before I release in the wild, now I senf to a friend in Philladelphia.

I do not collect them but I have a raw one somewhere.

I collect them, going so far as to specialize in their die stages and such. I'm particularly fond of 1955-S, and in the earliest dates, any unusual ones, etc. I recently got a rare one from a member of another forum, and shot it in HiRes. You can see it here:

I generally am only interested in BU examples since the BIE die chips are often taller than the rest of the letters, thus circulation is not kind to them.

Is there a website you use particularly with rarity or price info? Any tougher dated ones?
