Assuming the coin offered had his grade opinion, I would like to know the color(especially copper, but silver also). Is the color representative of the age of the coin or has it been messed with.

Agreed - I emphasized SELLER because with today's technology, it's difficult to believe a full time or even part time DEALER would be unable to provide pictures.
This word should hit all bases of strike, surface quality, and originality coming from a trusted seller.

UNCLEANED... From a dealer I respected, it would convey to me feel it had no hairlines, it was undipped, was toned as expected for the coin's age and grade, and looked uniformly natural.
If it is a dealer I trust, then I’d have to go with “undergraded”. I like it when my coins are undergraded . I’d rather pay more for an undergraded coin than I would for a similar coin that has a higher grade on the slab but is “maxed out” if you know what I mean.
