    Mmm, I'm wondering if being on a coin is quite the honor it used to be...

    Harriet Tubman: Made thirteen missions to rescue more than 70 slaves, risking her life in the process.
    Mary Todd Lincoln: Chased her hubby around with a knife and spent most of her life talking to ghosts and drooling in a corner.

    The U.S. Mint will release the 2024 Harriet Tubman Silver Dollar as part of the Harriet Tubman Commemorative Coin Program. The program celebrates the bicentennial of Harriet Tubman’s birth. The Mint will strike $5 gold coins, $1 silver coins, and half dollar clad coins as part of the program. The designs follow the three periods of Tubmans’ life and work.

    Philadelphia
    Specifications
    Composition: 99.9% silver
    Diameter: 1.500 inches
    Weight: 0.859 troy oz.
    Mintage Limit: 400,000 across all silver product options

    Just look at the Presidential dollars, there are quite a few non-achievers among them.

    This was probably the best thread resurrection I have ever seen.

    I have no issue with thread resurrections when there is new or relevant information. I just want ask the reposter to alert readers with a notification as a courtesy.
