Is “Being Imaged” sure indication of straight grade

I have an order at PCGS that it’s been in QA status for a while. Yesterday I noticed that it was “being imaged”. My question is, if it is being imaged, is that an indication that it received straight grade.
My Submission form indicated “do not hold if details”. In all truthfulness I hadn’t noticed, if being imaged was indicated throughout the QA process.

Not necessarily (unless something changed). It was always just a step and didn’t give any clues to straight grade or details.
No. If you ordered images, you'll get pics, regardless of grade.
They will image coins even if not holdering them. I have had an Unable to Authenticate coin still be imaged.

Yes, there would be no reason to photograph a coin that doesn’t get a cert number.

They will not image a coin that is not going into a holder. How could anyone possibly look it up?

Everything gets a certificate number, that's how they track them. But for not-holdered coins the certificate is never activated and is not publicly useful for anything.

As I think about this more, even though it was not holdered, they did put a serial number on the flip it was sent back in. I am wrong!

Well, I am changing my tune again. I used to send so many coins in, I lost track of what was going on. I always have them holder detail coins because I believe it is too easy to say, there is something wrong if all they have to do is send it back, and still charge me full price. The coins that had flips with cert numbers were failed cross-overs.

You talk here for a coin. Can you post a pic this coin of?? Like this mayve we can help you. Any company will take photos for many internal reasons.
If your pics is the coin, so sorry the autenticity could not be verified. From many reasons. I will never send a coins like this.
Those pics show me in a few second an couterfeit coin.

I bought that coin from one of the pre-eminent seated dollar experts who used to run his own grading service. I do think the chopmarks are dubious and I'm undecided on the coin. I took a chance and am out grading fees and moved the coin along.
However, to say that it is an obvious counterfeit after looking at a picture of the coin for a few seconds is either wrong or foolish.
