    I'd sure love to go to this show one day. "My" show (Long Beach) is dead in the water and it's a huge bummer. I had great times there over the years but now....argh.

    Thursday. I have Friday off as well but I am not sure I want to make the 2hr drive two days in a row like I have in the past. I think I will try to get everything done in one day.

    It will be better if you get there by Friday. Some dealers start pulling up stakes by Friday afternoon. Sunday can look like a large local show.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.     I will miss this year's show, but that's because I'm taking time off later in the month. After I retire next year, I can have all the FUN I want! Kinda bummed, I'd love to see those halves from @lkeigwin.

    It's light but very strong canvas, and has a great zipper. Now all I have to do is to remember to not leave it at a Dealer's table, lol.

    @winesteven It looks like you could find it easily if you did leave your bag at a Dealer's table. I gotta get one of those bags!

    The last few shows, I was nervous, clumsy and overly concerned about proper show etiquette after going through stuck SDB issues (tellers were banging on the framework with hammers to free the coin-filled SDB from the framework!), traffic jams, and even "the runs" on the way to the show. I hadn't been to shows in decades. And here I was, looking to make serious purchases face-to-face with the biggest dealers and amongst the star collectors, and I was a mess leaving everything everywhere. The dealers have been great, though. Very trusting with large purchases by check, which is wonderful.

    I just booked a room for two nights 0.8 miles from the OCCC. No more driving down for only 3 hours of FUN. I'll be there from Thursday until Saturday. I want to relax and enjoy myself with other coin collectors again.

    Make sure to put a tag on it like you do baggage at the airlines.....
