    I happen to have a 1909-S
    The mintmark position looks similar to mine:

    but it’s not really my series…

    It's genuine. The "S" looks correct for the year.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    Obverse die #6 used, far low and far right 's' position. 1909-S Lincoln made from Harsche #6 is seen far less often than pieces made from the five other obverse dies used for 1909-S without V.D.B. The beautiful uncirculated piece seen above should command a premium.

    Definitely a US Mint product, and with a great ‘circ’ look

    I bought the piece and very happy with it. The coin looks great in hand and represents an upgrade to my basic Lincoln set.
