I happen to have a 1909-S

The mintmark position looks similar to mine:
but it’s not really my series…

It's genuine. The "S" looks correct for the year.

Genuine and XF.

Obverse die #6 used, far low and far right 's' position. 1909-S Lincoln made from Harsche #6 is seen far less often than pieces made from the five other obverse dies used for 1909-S without V.D.B. The beautiful uncirculated piece seen above should command a premium.

Note that the reverse of this piece has a shallow valley 'N' in "UNITED."

Definitely a US Mint product, and with a great ‘circ’ look

I bought the piece and very happy with it. The coin looks great in hand and represents an upgrade to my basic Lincoln set.
