    I don't know. Got this out of the 2022 edition. Obviously a misprint. Not sure if the 2023 edition was corrected or added the 1943/1942-S Cent.

    There must be a disconnect here. Yes, I showed the redbook with the arrow pointing to the 43 not the 43D/D.

    I said I loved the 43 because it had a value of $2000 in MS65.

    @OAKSTAR Oh, my bad I thought you were referring to the cool 43 D over D. $2k lol. Nobody uses the Redbook for prices anyways. It a good source of information, but not so good on pricing.

    I agree, the toning adds lots of character and eye appeal, it’s definitely prettier than the majority of red cents. :)

    It's quite impressive in person.
    I've been tempted to crack & dip ever since I bought it... I bet it would GLOW if done properly.
