Just double checking it's pmd
I've never seen this kind of damage where nothing on the die is disturbed other than gashes. And the back is pristine in comparison. I'm sure it's nothing but wanted to see what you all thought!

Welcome. I hate it when one side is okay and the other ain't. We understand you, but familiarize yourself with the terms to describe a coin. For example a die is not part of a coin. Stick around.

Gouges on the die would be raised on the coin. Your coin is just damaged.

An error can only occur during the actual striking of the coin.
There is nothing on your cent that would occur at that time
so by default, it is PMD ( Post Minting Damage).0 -
