Thanks. A few of those have been swapped out and "upgraded". Those photos are a couple years old now. I think that's why I decided it's my core collection contribution. It's been the one constant so to speak in my ever changing collection tastes.

I thought the same thing and was conflicted with my type set as being the core of my collection. I put years into completing the 7070 the way I liked it and have upgraded along the way. As of a few years ago, it's been put to bed.

Building a collection around a certain theme and staying focused is not easy (for me) in this hobby. It's just to damn easy to get sidetracked!

My collection is kind of all over the place, but I really like the earlier bust coinage. Pretty much anything struck on a screw press.

Peace dollar fan here, have most of them in 64 or above and this one really sticks out. Most S dates were not great strikes but they did some great ones in 35 if you look around! Love the thread - thank you

Wow, that is an amazing very rare double eagle with great toning and very few significant hits or marks. The 1855-O $20 is a low mintage date (only 8,000 minted) sandwiched between two ultra-rarities. Congrats on THAT coin!
