I took advantage of my vouchers to cross this selection of NGC purchased coins. As seems to be my track record/ratio over a number of years, 1/2 came back with grades other than purchased. Of the six coins, one upgraded, one received a lower numeric grade and one did not cross at any grade.

First up is this 1916 two feather buffalo. It was purchased unattributed as a 64. I figured the luster was a bit toned over for PCGS's tastes and specified a minimum grade of 63, which is what I got. I had competition from other cherry pickers, so at the end of the day I could have just as well purchased a 63 2F if one where available. If it would have crossed at grade it would have been a nice upside.

Next is this 1914-S buffalo, purchased NGC58 from board member @airplanenut and crossed at grade. Crazy nice eye appeal and an ultimate better fit from my set, it displaces a 63 that has been in my set for 15+ years, which I could never seem to upgrade going up the numeric scale.

This two cent also crossed at grade as a 64RB. In all honesty I think the Truview disappoints a bit, with the obverse being a much brighter and fiery orange. Definitely one I will need to appreciate in hand.

The SLQ was purchased NGC62 and crossed at grade. This coin is also a good bit brighter in hand. It will join my SLQ date set, which is down to three dates to complete (excluding the 1916 which will be forever beyond my means).

Last is this Ike dollar for my type set. This is the upgrade, moving from NGC64 to PCGS66. Not the first time getting a two point bump when NGC and PCGS see things differently but unexpected on a cross submission.
