When does this nonsense stop?

Sure Steph, in a game where you can’t play physical defense, where stars play 60 games a year, where you get up to four steps and where the best players in the league request more trades than stockbrokers, you’re the best PG.

In reality, having seen both play, I’ll take Magic Johnson eight days a week.

Steph is a point guard in position name only and he hasn't even been the top facilitator on his own team during their dynasty run. That honor goes to Draymond who has led the team in assists per game for 7 of their past 8 seasons.

Magic has close to twice as many assists as Curry,has more Rings/MVPs/FMVPs and was good enough on both ends of the court to be able to start at center in a closeout Finals game when Kareem was out.

Curry could get away with calling himself the greatest shooter ever but point guard? No. Magic was better than him in every category but shooting percentages and points.

There's something with this generation of NBA players that they need to proclaim themselves either the GOAT (Lebron/Curry) or Basketball Gods (KD/Kyrie/Harden.) Its pretty easy to get away with that when they play in an era where there isn't any actual physical defense.
