I’m saddened to hear the news. RickO was no doubt one of the fathers of the forum. You know someone has left an impression on you in the forum when you leave the threads behind & go about your daily life & that persons knowledge, opinions, advice etc come into mind when forming opinions or making decisions of your own.
RickO reminds me of my brother. A man often times of few words that everyone respected & listened to. May he Rest in Peace.
I posted my condolences on the other thread but I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around this. .. I got super busy with work and put my numismatic endeavors on hold for a few weeks so I wasn't on the Forum. Mark Feld's thread about Rick was the first thing I saw when I got back. What a gut punch!
In a world with so much negativity and outright trolling on social media, @ricko was a breath of fresh air! He was always willing to help and I dont think he ever had a bad thing to say about anyone... we need more ricko's...

Cheers Ricko. He posted and commented on pretty much every thread I ever read! Leaving behind a comment path of nearly 100,000 posts!!!!! (98,724) and always closed with his signature......Cheers Ricko He will be sadly missed here.
He was a solid member of this forum and I will definitely miss his presence here. Not sure if anyone with surpass his post count either. He was a good man and was always a gentleman.
RIP my coin brother 😞
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
I was away in August and missed seeing the news of RickO's passing. He was a legend on the forums and I always enjoyed his comments. Condolences to all of his family and friends. Here's a blast white coin from his birth year. Rest in peace, Rick.

Saddened to hear of this. As others have said, always a positive influence on this board. Picture of Ricko and Keets I had saved.

@bolivarshagnasty
Thanks for posting that photo. I've been looking for it for a few days now. I couldn't remember if Ricko or keets posted it.
