Anyone have a lamination?

This is about the biggest lamination I've ever owned so I was wondering what is the biggest one that would be posted.
I guess a total lamination would a be a split layer?

Well, I DID have one, but I just dobbed some mercurichrome on it and it's all better now. Even the red stain's all gone!

Had a couple of laminated silver nickels, but can’t find them right now.

As a kid in the 50's, I was able to take my pick of war nickels from circulation and many were nice AU or better.

Interestingly, I found many that had lamination peeling and I'd throw them back into change as "damaged" :-)

I like the nickel!! I was ( and slowly) still am working on a set of laminated Lincoln cents from 1909 to 1958. I am up to about 30 so far. If I ever figure out how to post pics on this site...

Here is one "that almost was" on an early large cent.

The Wreath cents and the 1793 half cents were made during the summer of that year. They have very similar die work indicating that it was done by the same hand, and they have more than their share of planchet issues. Those who own a copy of the second edition of Roger Cohen's half cent book will recall the photo of a 1793 C-4 half cent.

These are some very impressive examples. Pennyannie-I too decided many years ago to assemble a date set of lam. Lincolns. I don't know about you but I included the d/s mints as well. Got most of the ones until I entered the key/semi-key realm. Worked on a Jeff. nickel set as well. Good luck on your set.

It really is!! I think lams are fairly common on these war nickels...... but yours is dramatic!!
