Hi there - what’s the best way to ship lower end coins (sub $20) in the most practical way - flip in the eBay standard envelope?

Thanks!!

    Define "best".

The cheapest way is ebay standard envelope but that won't work for slabs or coins not sold on eBay.

I prefer the bubble mailer for such coins. Cheers, RickO

Sub $20 per item orders go out "eBay standard envelope".

9 X 6 inch Kraft envelope, 8 1/2 X 5 1/4 inch light card stock, coin in a cardboard 2 X 2, paper square taping the 2 X 2 to the card stock, packing slip on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper folded in half and all inserted in the envelope after I print the label directly on the envelope with my trusty inexpensive Canon TS3122 printer.

I can ship anything up to about a clad half in weight for 1 ounce rate, anything up to two half dollar or three quarters for the 2 ounce rate and have shipped up to six quarters at the 3 ounce rate. Any coin orders over 3 ounces go out at the appropriate package rate in a padded mailer or a box.

This might be overkill for some but eBay is a lucrative hobby for me in retirement and I've never had a shipment arrive damaged nor have I ever had a complaint about my shipping. A couple never got delivered but I reimbursed the buyer and eBay paid me for the loss.

it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
