Just got this from eBay, the reverse holograph is missing, is that bad?

Thanks
I assume that an auction or inventory sticker was the culprit.
Nice steel cent, though.
Dealers put a sticker there and some stickers are stickier than others. When the sticker is peeled off, the hologram can sometimes come off with the sticker. It's not at all unusual on certain generations of the earlier slabs. I don't like it but it isn't worth the expense and trouble to send it back to be reholdered.

Cool
That generation of PCGS holder was started in 2004 or so, which means many of these slabs are nearing two decades old. They get damaged, especially the hologram or plastic feet.

Very nice 1943 S cent.... The missing hologram would not bother me at all. It will bother some collectors. Really not worth the investment of reslabbing though. Cheers, RickO
