A shout out to David Lawrence Rare Coins and USPS.

David Lawrence received my payment on Monday and shipped it out the same day. I received it via USPS on Wednesday. Great service on both of their parts.

I also always have great experiences. Jason does a great job and so does his team.

I’m a fan of DLRC. USPS generally does a great job except around the year-end holidays when they get overwhelmed.

How is DLRC on buying coins from the public? Never given them a serious shot aside from buying a couple small coins in the past, though I've always been well aware of their operation.

I’ve only purchased, I haven’t sold them any coins but they buy coins outright and also host a fairly popular auction platform for consignment.

They generally have a table at major shows - I’ve always had positive interactions in-person and online.

I'll happily second the OP's sentiments. Big fan of DLRC. No buyer's fees, no credit card mark-up and fast, free shipping. Does it get any better than that?

Now my recent USPS experiences have not been stellar.

While most of my purchases are elsewhere, I’ve always had a positive experience. I search their auctions every week. Now I’m just waiting for their new website filters to put back the filter to weed out auction lots with eye appeal (in their unbiased opinion) that are below “five star” (in my experience, roughly 2/3 of the lots are deemed by DLRC to be less than five stars for eye appeal).

Always nice to see posts cheering good experiences with dealers. Usually the bad news gets the press. Cheers, RickO

I’d like to echo the calls of praise for DLRC.
I’ve purchased more coins through them than any other operation over the last three years and have have top notch service in ALL cases.

Made an offer after business hours last night. It was accepted this morning and already marked as shipped. I'm happy as could be.

Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.
