AU 53, which is my commercial, market grade, lowered slightly after reviewing it on my monitor.
PCGS might go lower, NGC perhaps higher. Grellman may call it EAC Net 40.
Sorry - were you only asking for MY guess 😉

Sub-par strike, but I see nice details under it. There is obvious wear, so I’ll go with 55, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it went higher. :)

The coin lacks luster and has a flat strike...that being said...there portrait has no marks and the fields are clean on both sides.
NGC would grade this MS61..PCGS AU58.

I interpret the photos as having some wear but plenty of luster. How about AU56

Interesting spread of responses... everything from XF40 to AU58... I bought this piece from Tom Reynolds some time ago. It came with the Grellman attribution card. Both called her 50. Definitely a weak strike on the reverse but the fields are smooth and the color looks good in hand. There's a small dark spot on the reverse but a pleasing coin overall...

My guess would have been AU55.... Will you be submitting this coin? If so, let us know the grade. Cheers, RickO

It must look stronger in hand, if both of them gave it AU50!
My initial guess from the iPhone images was AU55, grellman 45+….then I decided I better check it on the monitor, where it appeared less lustrous and minor issues became more apparent, so I backed it down a bit.
Great provenance, it was good to see Tom retain Bob’s card.

I also missed it and agree that if Grellman and Reynolds called it a 50, it is likely at least 55.

Could see it in a 55 or 58 holder.

I was stunned to see this one came with Grellman's attribution card. It's definitely muted luster but the coin does look pretty good in hand.
