A true legend and a person we will never forget. One of (in my opinion) the nicest guys on the forum and always on the side of the yn and those who needed help. I remember how much he helped out others. I cannot believe that this is Broadstruck. No bad bone by this guy! Wow on this news, very upset to hear about this

I still cant believe hes gone.
Ireally wish that all of his great posts were preserved in original form. He used a different website to post many of his tokens long ago called "Tiny Pic" or something to that effect, and they are now unviewable here.
I will miss Frank's many contributions to this forum. I really can't think of another member, any of us, that was as passionate about coins as he.
I hope perhaps his son, as he grows up, finds his collection and builds on it. And this tangible link to his father brings him the same solace and peace that Frank found in these very coins.
    RIP, Frank.

I'm sorry to hear this. There is a sort of "eternal" quality to the best and the brightest who post their most rigorous and thoughtful ideas on aspects regarding numismatics. Hopefully their contributions will be long remembered and added to.

This is Elcontador writing from home (where I can't log in as Elcontador for some reason). Thank you Stefanie.

Frank was on this form, showing with pics and explaining why AU 58s of virtually all series of coins were assigned this grade. It was very educational. He also provided me with some very helpful information re FH SLQs, and shared some of Jay Cline's insights about the series.

    One of the good guys.

Most of us probably know one another only through our cyberspace postings.

All the more reason to get together at a big coin show -- like FUN -- and get to know the faces behind the postings.

These forums are only 20-25 years old....they didn't exist before that....prior to that, you probably knew other collectors from phone calls, coin shows, or actual dealings. Cyberspace postings make it easy to reach a larger community.....though it comes at a cost of less of a connection, with many never meeting in person.

Like with family, don't be afraid to reach out. Most of us won't be here in 20 or 30 or 40 years. o:)
