I lost a good pet yesterday. Post a coin for me.
Yesterday I lost my bird Penny. It’s a lot harder that I initially thought. 
She was around 8 years old so I guess it was just old age. She would get sick, then better, then sick, etc. this went on for the last few months.
This is rough.

I had an albino parakeet back when I was in grade school. Named BB because of his red eyes the same size as a BB. Even brought him to show-and-tell one day. Loved that bird.
This is the best I can do to match Penny's plumage.

We had a parakeet of similar color and attractiveness as Penny and the girlfriend walked out the French doors when the parakeet was out of the cage and she flew up to the top of our 100 foot pine tree. We had so many people in local ads that had found parakeets in their garage, etc. but we never found our original parakeet.Now riding the swell in PM's and surf.5 -
Our last parakeet ended up inside our other pet..... a very large and obese hairball cat named Wilbur. Sadly, he passed a couple years ago. They do become part of us -- to an extent that's really something. Sorry man.
