This is appealing to me as a scientist and a collector. I like the assay card-like holders.

Many are quite affordable and then there are some financial stoppers.

I don’t know of another source to buy one ounce bars of periodic elements.

I like that Unobtainium bar but it's a little too rich for me. ;)

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

They would make a nice collection for a metallurgist. I will stick to gold and silver... Cheers, RickO

I have never even heard of some of these metals. Are some of them radioactive? If so, do you glow-in-the-dark if you obtain one?

Most toxic element they sell is thallium. In a glass ampule. As long as you don't break the glass and handle the thallium there would be no issues. They don't sell curium or uranium, etc., elements that have radioactive isotopes and are regulated by nuclear agencies. In some cases, like osmium (platinum group and densest of all naturally formed elements) it is the oxide form that is toxic. So for any of the metals with any potential toxicity they likely have warnings to keep it in the packaging (whether an ampule or an assay card).
