High luster gold 1946-s Lincoln cent? Natural or tampered with?

Hello all,

I'm new here and also relatively new to numismatics. Anyway, I was sorting wheat pennies for my collection book last night and came across this 1946-S lincoln cent. I've attached pictures. The pics honestly don't do the luster justice. It's very reflective and shiny. You can see the reflection of my fingers in the pics. I was wondering if this is a form or natural toning or an example of one of those middle school chemistry experiments to make pennies appear silver or gold? My inclination is the latter. I just thought I'd ask before dismissing it. Thank you in advance for any help or information.
