  The Morgan is nicely double struck. Is that normally so obvious on Dan Carr overstrikes?

  I just ordered the 2022 Morgan set (CC, [P], O, S) and 1922D Morgan. Received the Peace Dollar set a few weeks ago. His work is outstanding.

  Maybe Daniel himself will come by and answer your question. I don’t know how many strikes he uses.

  That's most likely from the Morgan dollar host coin that was overstruck.

  I believe the doubling is actually artifacts from underlying coin.

  And it's easy to see when the overstrike is deliberately off-center (O/C)...

  Yes, the original host coin outlines are readily visible on that one, which causes the double-struck look (which it basically is - once by the US Mint and 3 times in rapid succession by me).

  While I love and collect all of Dan's Peace dollar offerings, the 2022-CC Morgan is a stunner in PL finish - one of my favorites from Dan.
