Restoration before and after pictures

Rob, it is our dear hosts. It looked like some sort of coin that various local self appointed experts in restoration claimed that they could have done it themselves, but I wasn’t at all certain. I had no idea what could be lying under the toning and as it turns out the fields were free from distractions with an impressive luster ,to the extent that I wasn’t happy at all with its MS62 grade.

I’ve listed it on ebay and it was sold in less than 24 hours. They have their own very fanatic following.

I wanted to try the service anyway. Next in line, some gold French 10 and 20 francs. These are already slabbed and I’m aiming at a grade (or more) higher.
