2021 Peace Dollar (Error)?

Good evening, I would like to get some thoughts on resending a NGC MS70 high relief coin back to get regraded for an error. The NGC website shows the obverse and if zoomed you can see what appears to be a break across the ridge of the nose. I have attached some magnified pictures as well. I suppose this could be a piece of lint between the slab and coin, but I have never seen this. Just thought I would post it here and get some other thoughts. It would not cost too much to send it back in the chance that there is an error. NGC has confirmed that the slab is intact and in fact this is the coin. Thanks

They had a difficult time at the mint. The Morgan’s and Peace Dollars looked like they were packaged during a dust storm. Especially Denver. Lots of smutz, lint , fuzz and what ever. Tom seems to have identified the problem.

Not sure what it is but looks like glue or something of the sort. Doesn't look like part of the coin to me.

Put me in the post mint hit column. Sh#% happens.

The peace dollar is struck thru (and possibly retained). That Roosevelt dime is damaged.

@Spiderr... Welcome aboard. The Peace dollar appears to be a struck through of lint or fine debris. Not sure the TPG will note such a thing on the label, but if it is important to you, go ahead and try. Cheers, RickO

I had a strike through on a 2021 D Morgan that I submitted to PCGS and came back MS69. Strike through errors on the Peace dollars seem to be less common.

@Spiderr - your Peace dollar looks like a strike through.

@OAKSTAR - your dime looks like post mint damage.

Hopefully @ErrorsOnCoins or @FredWeinberg will concur.

Hard to tell for sure from the photo and the glare, but it’s probably a strikethrough – minor
