Change find today.

Found my 4th W Washington Quarter along with a really nice 1973 D Lincoln Cent in super condition. Funny thing about the quarter is that no black shows up with my naked eye. Go figure, I'm old.
And no they are not the same size.

Great!
Those W's are getting worn.
The cent is a little scratch away from being a Gem. It is apparently mint set hazing that killed it.
Quarters seem to pick up wear quickly as they are still circulating actively. The cent is probably another example of a coin that sat in a can or jar for the past fifty years and was then dumped back into circulation by the heirs of the original owner. There seem to be a lot of cents like that out there these days.
That's neat! I like the wear on the W.

Yes, I have gotten a lot of 40+ year old red Lincolns lately. Almost every day I go out.

Nice ones! Still no W find for me.
No W’s for me though it’s always fun to find a 50 year old coin of any sort in uncirculated condition!

Congratulations on the W!
You need to put the 1973 D cent under a microscope to look for crop circles.
Congratulations on the W quarter in change. I have yet to find one in change, and I shop with cash a lot. The only one I found was in a Coinstar reject slot. Cheers, RickO
I recruit my buddies from poker night, they look thru their change and give me the "W" and "S" quarters
that they find! Lucky for me they are not coin collectors.....
No one seems to play poker around here anymore. Years ago, there was a lot of interest in casual poker games... penny ante, nickel/dime.... and of course, some big money as well. Not anymore.... Good idea though, I have asked some friends to check their change, no results yet.
Cheers, RickO
Yeah, we just play nickels, dimes and quarters.....a good night might bring ya $25 bux or so....and maybe some of those "S" and "W" quarters!!!
Yep... Enjoyed those games... bunch of neighbors/friends... joking, fun and a few beers... Cheers, RickO
Very cool, Jim.
I got this in change at the FUN show yesterday:
