My pick is a dead-heat tie between Brooks Robinson's '58 and Steve Garvey's '73. I'm trying to keep it to star-semi-star cards.
The bloated and likely over-served '67 Mantle is an atrocity as well...

1973 Garvey is a nice card for fans and family of Wes Parker.

Hey now. I didn't mean any offense. It's just an older and very bloated Mickey at the height of his drinking. Truth is, _he _hated the card. The colors fail to contrast and it's actually a cropped photo from a group shot that had to be additionally half-toned to create a workable print. "Atrocity" is just for effect and humor, but the 1967 Topps Mickey Mantle is a terrible card.

I was never a fan of the '77 Jim Hunter either. Weird looking card.

That card is, indeed, gross. There were SO many photo ops for Reggie, too. A horizontal action shot might have been cool 🤔

Never liked this Ernie Banks card...awkward photo while he was talking.
Runner up would be this May's card (not mine). Baseball players should always wear caps or helmets in their photos.

The wood paneling is hilarious. Some of the 1970 basketball is absolutely amazing as well...of course I'm trying to stick to baseball here but...even in pack fresh condition, Hal Greer got screwed! Lol

Not the most flattering pictures ever taken of Schmidt.
Also, one, among many, of the late 60's early 70's OPC head transplants.

I never understood why Topps never airbrushed the pole in the background out of the Schmidt photos. I mean, the AS one has it coming right out of the top of his head. With all the terrible airbrushing done by Topps these seem like easy things to fix.

I understand why Topps didn't brush out the posts as they had a job to do and not a lot of time and care to do it. That's why some of these cards are so terrible, Lol. Just to help ease the "unknowing"
That 1967 Mantle 8.5 is mine....
Not really interested in selling because it was and still is my ALL - TIME Favorite Mantle card!!No accounting for personal taste!
However - I have an 8 of the same card that I feel is just as nice -
maybe even better...
So I might be interested in a exploratory "trade" dialogue
