I am curious about the value if any of this coin. Please be nice, I am not really knowledgeable. Thanks so much.

First off, it's a 1909 VDB.
I’m sorry for my lack of knowledge so don’t beat me up too bad lol. Does that make a significant difference?
My guess is that the coin’s worth about $15, which is more than the value of a regular 1909.

Can you guess where this 1909 cent is?
No clue

Yes. It is on one of the Mars landers.

I was going to say embedded in a ceramic tile. You can see what looks like a grout line.

Correction: It's on mars!
The OP’s coin is actually very nice looking! not terribly valuable but a nice example of an 09 VDB
OP's coin worth about $5-$6 to a dealer who, if on the up and up, would sell for about $10-$12.
If a picture wasn't going very well I'd put a puppy dog in it, always a mongrel, you know, never one of the full bred puppies. And then I'd put a bandage on its foot... I liked it when I did it, but now I'm sick of it.

So it’s not on the Mars rover?

Agreed. While not a high-dollar coin, that's a respectable 1909-VDB in the original post.

Nice 1909 V.D.B..... certainly worth ten to fifteen dollars.... Good album coin. I have one slabbed that I got from Charmy in a cracked slab. Cheers, RickO
Thank you. I thought it may have been a little too rough but I think I’ll hang on to it now.
I appreciate the feedback from everyone. I am slowly but definitely learning a lot and I have to say I am fascinated with the search and building a collection. Thanks everyone
