2020S Colorized Proof Half Dollar Commemorative Value???

Found a few of these coins at a garage sale for $3 each and bought them.

Any Idea if it is even worth $3? The slip inside the box says it is a mintage of only 750,000 so seems like a cool clad coin to add to my small collection.... maybe haha

And I apologize the picture of the reverse is a little blurry

    Surprised a coin this recent would be at a garage sale. Recent eBay listings show around $40 so you did well for $3.

    Yeah I saw them in a bin of 90's mint sets mostly and it caught my eye.

    I looked on ebay and saw that too BUT wasn't sure if those were just scammers getting lucky and selling to uneducated people

    You're not going to get rich from this, but there is absolutely no downside at all for $3 each.

    They originally retailed from the mint for $55 a pop.

    I feel like they are getting better at it?

    I mean mint sets from the 90's I feel like was the biggest scam ever, there are so so so many

    The mint got so pissy because these and all their varieties 1 oz and the others, didn’t sell very well, that they put up the sold out sign. Fast. Not a happy bunch 🤔

    The product limit on the colorized halves were 75k but they only sold less than half at 32.5k before putting the sold-out sign on it.

    They probably did melt down what they had in stock, but I highly doubt that they produced the entire 75k mintage for the initial release.
