Vintage Holders Seldom Seen

I managed to pick up two Washington Quarter Set Holders--Capital Plastic with Bowers and Merena "Kingswood" logo in new condition. I just though it was an interesting find especially because I have the uncirculated quarters to fill them.

@Garfield2022.... Nice find and they look to be in very good condition. Cheers, RickO
I've got several Capital Plastic holders, Jefferson Proof, buffalo nickels, and many year sets, mint sets and proof sets. I like them and have sold many both full and empty over the years. If you truly wish to save something and display it, very nice. Although, I wouldn't display my coins for reasons of theft.

I loved my Kingswood holders. Sold them some time back. Slabs have improved the hobby in many ways, but attractive displays isn't one of them.
I like Capitol Plastic in general but the most recent holder which was for Peace Dollars came with sup standard screws and or nuts. I ordered replacement screws but they are just as bad. Many of them don't tighten up and are easily stripped. They seem off quality and don't recall ever having that problem. Anyone else had this problem ?
They sell metal screws which help this problem...I think they are on ebay.
**Yes! They don't appear to have been used. They were in the original Capital boxes with the thin tissue paper that appeared undisturbed as far as wrinkles or tears. It's actually the first time I've seen Capital holders labeled like this but that might be because there were several years of collecting inactivity for me. **
For metal screws look for 1/4 inch Chicago screws on Amazon. They are around $10 for a hundred of them. All kinds of different colors and metals. I found some stainless steel gold ones for all my Capital type holders.
Thanks for the info folks, I'll check it out.
